This is an advanced Ultra High Definition(HEVC(H.265)) Home Gateway solution for cable operators accross Europe, Middle East and Asia, and desingned for convergent product to deliver content in the connect home to various media devices like smart phones and tablets. It integrates Ethernet Router(4 Gigabit ports) and AP Router(WiFi(802.11n/ac)) over either WAN or DOCSIS3.0(32x8), E-MTA with Advanced STB which support multiple tuners, transcoding and DLNA to support client devices. It supports multiple tuners to support fast channnel change technology and designed for upgrading hardware capability to interface external HDD, Video Bridge, PLC and MoCA based home networking module.
The client is just MoCA or Ethernet or WiFi based client with lower prices than advance STB, but also it can share all Gateway features. QoS, Remote Management System (RMS) and Easy UI/Ux are key features.
The RCU over WiFi can support various features including Smart RCU(Voice Searching, App for Remote UI).
Connected devices not only include Bluetooth, RF4CE for RF-RCU, but also include Zigbee for supporting M2M, AMI in smart home environment in future.
