In the States, Europe
and Canada, this DMB broadcasting is called DAB (Digital Audio
Broadcasting), DAR (Digital Audio Radio), DRB (Digital Radio
Broadcasting), DSB (Digital Sound Broadcasting), DMB (Digital
Multimedia Broadcasting). It was called DAB at the beginning
in Korea but it is now called DMB in reliance on ITU regulations
- that DAB should encompass video, data as well as audio applications.
On the basis of outstanding mobile calling feature, various
applications -
music / caption / images are delivered through small television
or mobile and fixed real-time devices ? PDA, also are they possible
to broadcast by electric-wave and satellite, and the transmission
form is like this; Out of Band signaling in Europe, In Band
signaling in the States, and ISDB-TN signaling in Japan.

to be sent at different data rate each other simultaneously.
PAD services - insert data
services into voice applications and provide together,
and NPAD services - independent of voice applications,
provide applications by caption, graphic and images are
very increasing the future meaningfulness of radio broadcasting.

stock information, weather forecast, play and opera, and
schedule of music recital, real-time news services to
